Ban Russian football teams from UEFA games until Russia withdraws from Ukraine
I would like the UK Government to use its influence with UEFA to request a ban for Russian football teams from the Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League and the Russian National team from the European championships until the Russian Government have withdrawn from Ukraine
UEFA are unlikely to do this without political pressure from national government and they should not be allowed to continue to allow Russia to sportswash its image by allowing its football teams to travel around Europe playing in competitive fixtures. We must show solidarity with Ukraine against tyranny.
