Increase sanctions on Russia, among other actions
We want to see the toughest possible sanctions imposed on Russia, as well as on oligarchs associated with Putin.
For example, we believe that Russia must be immediately removed from the SWIFT global payment system.
Furthermore pressure must be put on those EU member states that are delaying allowing Russia’s removal from SWIFT.
Finally, we demand that the UK government holds Putin and Russian troops accountable to the various war crimes they have already committed in their recent invasion of sovereign state of Ukraine.
The government must act immediately and punitively against Russia so that Putin knows to stop forcefully meddling in European affairs and in sovereign states separate from Russia.
