Expand sanctions to all entities supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Block all transactions and trade by UK companies with Russian companies in the metallurgy and energy sectors.
Implement all measures to freeze the assets of all Russians banks in the UK.
Extend UK sanctions to cover all individuals and entities on the US and EU list of sanctions.
Ukraine is a sovereign and democratic state whose freedom is now threatened by a Russian invasion. The UK has a proud history of defending democracy and protecting states from repression and authoritarian rule. The UK is a signatory to the Budapest memorandum, in which it pledged to uphold the sovereignty of Ukraine. Foreign Minister Liz Truss has said the UK stands "should to should with Ukraine". Now is the time to take further measures to fulfil the UK's pledge to protect democracy.
