Provide means for Ukrainian refugees to claim asylum in the UK.
The UK government has suspended visa applications from Ukrainian people who are not related to those with British nationality.
I am calling on the government to remove this suspension and allow Ukrainian refugees to claim asylum in the UK.
The Ukrainian people are currently under grave threat from a powerful neighbour who has begun an armed invasion.
The Ukrainian sovereign nation is the current front line between freedom and democracy and a powerful aggressor.
Ukrainian men are staying there to fight the invading Russian forces. I believe that the UK should offer refuge to their families whose homes are being fought over to defend their democracy and self-determination, values which the UK should help to uphold.
