Help Afro-Caribbean people achieve safe passage into Poland from Ukraine.
Over the last 24 hours, harrowing footage has surfaced online of Afro-Caribbean being denied safe passage into Poland from Ukraine because of the colour of their skin. Everyone should be able to seek safe refuge regardless of race, religion, or gender.
I urge the government to be a voice for the currently voiceless and to urge foreign ministers to encourage the safe passage of everyone who is currently fleeing a country under attack, regardless of their race, religion, or gender.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government or Parliament are not responsible for overseeing border arrangements for other countries. You could have a petition which urged international organisations to assist with safe passage for Afro-Caribbean people trying to leave Ukraine
We currently have two petitions open which you might like to sign:
Pressure all governments to assist migrants on Belarus/Poland border.
