Fund the building of communal fallout shelters across the country
The Government should fund new communal fallout shelters across the country, stocked with rations and water. These can be built in tube stations, beneath schools, hospitals and train stations, or renew old bunkers. Arrangements should be made for medical/security staff in the event they are needed.
Russia is escalating conflict with the West. Veiled threats of Russia's nuclear deterrent has prevented NATO from defending Ukraine to its fullest capacity. We are underprepared for nuclear conflict and we should be prepared even for the worst possibility to safeguard UK citizens from disaster.
