Petition Action

The location of all defibrillators should be registered on a National Database.

Additional Information

The Government must fund a National Database giving the location of all new or replacement defibrillators installed (domestic residences may be excluded)

This database should:-
Be utilised by the ambulance 999 service so that people at the scene of a cardiac arrest can be directed to the nearest defibrillator enabling them to access and use the equipment prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.

It must contain the defibrillator manufacturers recommended service intervals and generate an email alert to the person/s responsible for the defibrillator.
