Grant prescribing and injection rights to osteopaths.
Make it possible for Osteopaths to attend prescribing courses. If the government allow osteopaths to carry out prescribing courses it will take the pressure off other medical professionals. We are no less qualified than podiatrists and physiotherapists.
Osteopaths have to study a 5 year, masters course to be granted this qualification. We are no less qualified than physiotherapist or podiatrists. We study, in-depth, the anatomical and pathophysiological processes carried out in the human body and have studied for 1 year more than physiotherapist. Allow Osteopaths to carry out this course to further their studies.
