Fund extra security and higher fencing on bridges for public safety

Petition Details

I want the Government to provide funding for extra security measures on bridges, such as barriers or fences, to reduce the risk of suicide.

Additional Information

There are too few security measures on many bridges to prevent people taking their own life. I think the Government should provide additional funding to install taller fences or cages, to both safe lives and prevent the impact witnessing a suicide can have on witnesses.
