Offer Group B streptococcus (GBS) test to all pregnant women
Make testing available at routine midwife checks
My daughter was born with this and luckily was treated within 6 hours, however some are not as lucky as their babies sadly pass away from it.
It needs to be routinely tested in the UK, just like it is around the world.
