Stop referring to the UK State Retirement Pension as a 'Benefit'
We demand that the State Retirement Pension be referred to as State Pension Entitlement and for any use of the word 'Benefit' to be deleted from the Pension system!
The word' benefit' is objectional to generations of hard working people who have paid into the NI System as contribution towards their pension
We need the word 'benefit' to be removed from any reference to the State Retirement Pension.
The Pension is an 'Entitlement' ...it is not a 'Beneift'
For it to be a 'benefit' it would be payable to men and women at equal amounts.
Please don't dismiss this petition under the pretext you used previously that 'you didn't make clear what you wanted the Government to do!'
Stop using the word 'Benefit' when referring to the the State Retirement Pension
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can accept petitions calling for changes to state pension entitlements, but it is up to individual persons and organisations how to refer to state pension.
