Stop renewable wholesale energy prices being set to gas wholesale prices.
The renewable energy price is dictated by the “last unit coming onto market, which is gas”, So while the cost of wind, the cost of nuclear and the cost of solar have not changed, the entire renewable market is getting a price based on gas. It’s ludicrous that green energy is priced by a fossil fuel.
Renewable energy should be priced at percentage above cost of production.

Decisions about energy prices are a matter for generators and Ofgem, not the UK Government or Parliament. The energy price cap set by Ofgem does not apply if a consumer has chosen a standard variable green energy tariff.
