Install a zebra crossing on Chapel Hill, Halstead Essex
A recent RTA involving a vehicle crashing into the school gates, just after school pick up, highlights the hazardous driving and inconsiderate parking experienced on Chapel Hill.
Children and pedestrians deserve a safe place to cross. Unfortunately at present it is a fatality waiting to happen.
Primary school children, their parents, siblings and the general public deserve a safe place to cross on Chapel Hill.
The installation of a Zebra crossing near to the Holy Trinity Primary school’s second gate entrance on Chapel Hill would provide not only a safe and visible place to cross, but would prevent cars parking dangerously near to the school gates.
The zebra crossing should also provide a visible reminder to adhere to the speed limit and be more aware of pedestrians crossing.
