All public toilets should be free and open to all at all times.
The government should cancel all charging measures for public toilets, and ensure that toilets are open to the public 24 hours a day as much as possible.
Going to the toilet is birthright to all human beings. However, there are still a large number of public toilets (such as stations) that charge the public. The charging of toilets is a ruthless violation of human rights. Therefore, the government should cancel all charging measures for public toilets.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The operation of public toilets in the UK is a matter for local authorities, not the UK Government or Parliament. This means the Government is not directly responsible for the action this petition calls for.
You could have a petition calling for the Government to fund local authorities to provide more free public toilets in their areas, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
