Make domestic violence awareness part of the school curriculum.
Making domestic violence awareness part of the school curriculum could have a positive impact on young people. When young we are naive and sometimes think that control and jealously is love. I believe this could stop children’s services having to intervene in future generations.
Intimate partner violence accounts for 15% of all violent crime. Women between the ages of 18-24 are most commonly abused by an intimate partner.

The Government's new Relationships and Sex Education curriculum, requires that students are now taught about the concepts of, and laws relating to, sexual consent, sexual exploitation, abuse, grooming, coercion, harassment, rape, domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based violence and FGM, and how these can affect current and future relationships.
