Finance completion of the Metropolitan Line Extension to Watford Junction.
To provide funds for, and instruct TfL and Network Rail to expedite, construction of the Metropolitan Line Extension over the nearby closed Croxley Green route to Watford High Street and Watford Junction.
This connection will provide a direct link to the mainline railway network for residents along the Metropolitan Line, and the Chiltern Railways route from Marylebone to Aylesbury. Currently any passengers needing access to the West Coast Main Line must travel into London and use Euston or Euston Square Underground stations. This is a long and unnecessary journey.
Moreover, the Croxley Link, AKA the Metropolitan Line Extension will integrate, and provide a central interchange for, all railway services in the Three Rivers area.
