Abolish the new legislations of Calories on every menu’s items
The new legislation that states as mandatory the presence of calories on every menu item is very dangerous for the thousands of people that suffers from eating disorders. Calories being displayed like this can be an extremely powerful trigger for people who suffers from Anorexia and Bulimia.
Consider a review of the legislation, make it so that is possible for people to easily access calories informations but not to have them directly on the menu.
Between 1.25 and 3 million people in the UK only suffer from an Eating disorder, and seeing calories displayed like this can be extremely dangerous.
Consider even people that are recovering from an ED, or people suffering from depression and body image in a profound way.
Don’t put people, especially our young ones, in danger deliberately.
