Change child benefits, cost of childcare, maternity or paternity leave period
The right to take a year off for paternity or maternity leave. Child benefits should be increased by at least £20 per month per child to enable families to maintain a decent standard of living. We propose 30 hours of free childcare to all families through an entirely funded program.
Chaining this to allowing one year of paid paternal or maternity leave will help parents raise new children. We are requesting these changes to actual laws to help children that are in poverty, creating for them a healthier and happier start in life
