Independent enquiry into flooding downstream of the Jubilee River Flood Relief System

Additional Information

Initiate a full independent inquiry into the 2014 flooding that affected residents along the river Thames below the point where the Jubilee Flood Relief System rejoins the main waterway upstream of Wrasbury.
Review data, findings and guidance from the 2003 flood event that affected the same areas on a smaller scale. Compare and deliver the findings to the residents of the communities that have destroyed via a clear and honest medium.
Following the investigation, decide whether or not the Environment Agency should be held accountable for the extreme conditions experienced downstream of the Relief System and also review capacity and flow prediction data relating to the channels design and installation to assess whether or not it is fit for purpose in its current configuration.
