Petition Action

The Government to continue daily information about the spread of Covid.

Petition Details

The British public are expected to make individual decisions about how to stop the spread of the virus. If the public are to continue to help control the spread of the disease they need to be informed when cases and hospitalisations are high so they can react to that situation appropriately.

Additional Information

The pandemic is not over. Against recommendations from WHO, the Government has removed mitigations, stopped most testing & plans to reduce or stop the daily data we currently receive.
It has been reported that the Covid daily dashboard will stop, ONS reports on Covid will reduce and funding for the Zoe project is to be stopped. WHO has said it is vital to keep people informed. The government should follow their guidance and continue to gather information about Covid and keep the nation informed.
