start school later
if the government could make school start even an hour later teenagers could have enough sleep to study in school and be less stressed from all of the studying teenagers cant do because of how tired they are
melatonin is released in a teenagers brain around 10-11pm making them feel tired around 12-1 am giving the average teen 6-7 hours of sleep compared to the 8-10 that they need, whereas an adults melatonin is generally released around 8-9pm making them feel tired around 10-11pm allowing them to have the 7 hours of sleep that they need. because of the lack of sleep that teenagers get they tend to be more stressed in school causing depression, anxiety and anger
