Increase Endometriosis Funding For A Quicker Diagnosis.
Endometriosis is a gynaecological conditions which affect 1 in 10 women, but in terms of research and funding, this is incredibly under prioritised. This petition is calling for more funding, to enable for new, extensive and thorough research into female health issues.
I am a 35 year old women that had suffered with bad periods and bowels for just under 20 Years. I have been back and forth to doctors in this time being advised I have IBS and bad periods, being put on prescriptions I didn’t need. February 2022 I was finally diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. This has affected my life in many ways and I do not want to see other women go though what I have.
