11+ kids allowed to wear accessories over school uniform eg: coats/hats/hoodies
So that the kids don’t get cold during class when the windows are open for ventilation because It causes a disturbance when they’re cold but if they put there coat on they can concentrate on there work/so that the kids can express themselves in an appropriate way.
Allow children to wear accessories over there school uniform If they desire to. Also so that the schools can spread a piece of diversity during this difficult time.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Deciding on school uniform policy is a matter for individual schools, not the Government or House of Commons.
The Department for Education stated in a blog on 11 January 2022 that uniform rules should be reviewed to let pupils dress accordingly if classrooms are cooler than usual: educationhub.blog.gov.uk/2022/01/11/ventilating-classrooms-to-reduce-the-spread-of-covid-19-doesnt-mean-pupils-need-to-be-cold-heres-why/
It is up to individual schools how to implement this guidance.
