Discuss the rate that is paid by Smart export guarantee
Electricity prices are higher than ever but SEG rate is pitifully low
The current rate for incoming electricity is 29.584p/Kwh
The rate for exported electricity is 3p/Kwh

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The rate paid to people using the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) are set by electricity suppliers (SEG Licencees), not the Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to review how the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) works, or to set a national rate backed by the Government.
