Petition Action

Send British troops to defend humanitarian corridors in Ukraine's war zones

Petition Details

The Government and Parliament must save lives in Ukraine by fast-tracking the deployment of British armed forces to the country, as a rapid reaction force that will protect civilians by defending, safeguarding and maintaining humanitarian corridors against Russia's invasion forces.

Additional Information

This decision will be independent of any existing commitment to NATO, UN peacekeeping or similar treaties since it is a humanitarian act that is moral and legally justified by our obligation to save human beings.
It should be a precedent for the humanitarian deployment of armed forces in other war zones.
In Ukraine's case, while giving priority to defending humanitarian corridors, provision should also be made for protecting nuclear power installations.
