Make criminals serve WHOLE sentence
Make criminals who are sentenced to ‘x’ years serve the full sentence handed down by the court.
It makes a mockery of the judicial system if a criminal is sentenced and (for example) only serves half a sentence and let out on good behaviour. If a criminal is sentenced, then the whole sentence should be served. Serving full sentences would then act as a deterrent to others who think they can manipulate the judicial system and would deter them from crime, knowing that they would have to serve the whole time handed down by HM Courts.
