Seek to suspend India's membership of the Commonwealth of Nations
We want the Government to seek the suspension of the Republic of India from the Commonwealth of Nations, in response to its government's failure to acknowledge and condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine
The 14 points of the 1971 Singapore Declaration dedicated all members of the Commonwealth of Nations to the principles of world peace, liberty, human rights, equality, and free trade. India has persistently abstained from from condemning the actions of Russia throughout its invasion of Ukraine and allegations of human rights abuses and war crimes. We believe India's position on this issue is incompatible with the principles of the Commonwealth of Nations and its membership should be suspended.
