Allow workers who stand all day to have the option to sit down
We need to have a law that allows the people that work standing to have a chair where they can rest
It's really harmful for rhe body to stand up for 8 hours. Sudies show that this can cause flat fert, lower back pain, poor heart circulation. So I think it's everyone right to sit down, if their job can be done from a sitted position.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about whether it is necessary for an employee to be standing as part of their duties are a matter for individual employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
All workers are entitled to work in environments where risks to their health and safety are properly controlled. You can find out more about workers rights and employer's responsibilities regarding health and safety here: www.hse.gov.uk/workers/index.htm
