Change the UK highschool grading system. Change it from numbers to letters
To change the current UK grading system as I feel like it is abhorrent and bring back the old UK grading system. So an 8 now could mean an A* or an A.
I feel like people don't value numbers as they value letters. If a sheet contains all A* it looks better then all 8s even though it has the possibility to be an A*

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you're concerned about the use of number-based grading systems for exams in secondary education in England, but as there are different grading systems for different qualifications, we're not sure exactly which exams you would want to see covered by this change.
You could start a new petition calling for GCSEs in England to return to a letter-based grading system, if that's something you'd like to see happen.
This petition was also created using a fake or incomplete name. People who create petitions are required to give their full, real name before we can accept their petition.
