Help Chesham commuters!
The Chesham branch of the Met line has suffered from a significant drop in reliability for some time, with many services regularly cancelled or disrupted. Many households rely on the Met line to get themselves and their families to school and work, and suffer hardship as a result of poor service.
We therefore ask the Government to urge TFL to:
• Prioritise the Chesham branch over the Amersham branch (the latter is serviced by the Chiltern line as well as the Met line);
• Prioritise maintenance of rolling stock and the branch line to minimise technical failure;
• Prioritise consistency of service before 9am and after 4pm;
• Provide accurate and timely information to passengers so that they may plan around any disruption and avoid being stranded far from home.
