Petition Action

For the current Government to call an URGENT UK Wide public vote held by 26.30.2014 on whether to use hydraulic fracturing in the UK (FRACKING)

Additional Information

To call an URGENT NATIONAL PUBLIC VOTE BEFORE elections and by 26.03.2013 to assess if fracking should go ahead in the UK, or whether to ban it completely, in favour of using GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMPS, accessing the SAME energy but without creating or bringing radioactive water above ground, putting potentially chemicals into the ground, or bringing any posionous gases into the atmosphere that are damaging to humans and animals alike – paying close reference to: http://pennsylvaniaallianceforcleanwaterandair.wordpress.com/the-list/ document and considering the OVERALL HEALTH & WELL BEING OF THE UK, now and in the future. To place a moratorium on UK fracking until then. With consideration to UK insurers now refusing to insure homes close to fracking sites, and considering that in most instances planning permission has been granted with NO LOCAL public consultation, despite the fact that homes nearby will be grossly affected economically and adversley affect the HEALTH of individuals.
