Wage increases for all security officers, guards and door supervisors
I want the government to help push security companies to pay more to their security staff. These are men and women whom work in the front line just like Police officers, fire fighters and paramedics yet they are paid more.
Security officers are the men and women whom work on the front line across various sectors to help keep us all safe. They are exposed to threats of violence, face violence, verbal assault and assault on a daily basis. Yet security officers are so under paid that our retail workers, cleaning assistants and many other sectors are paid much more! Why? The wages do no justice. Others on the front line our police force, fire fighters and paramedics are on far better salaries than security
