Make public servants fines be a percentage of income rather than fixed penalties
A £50 fixed penalty is a days wage on minimum wage. Public servants should be held to at least equal fines given their public role.
At least days gross income would be a fairer fine inline with the rest of the population.
This should include external incomes not just public salaries.
The insult to the public when the Prime Minister will happily state he has paid the 'FPN' when interviewed on national news is intolerable,
The Chancellor's has one of the highest incomes in the UK with his private earnings included yet he hasn't even had the decency to apologise.
