Change the law to ban daily standing charges
To introduce a law banning daily standing charges that companies charge customers to increase profits.
The use of standing charges to have and access essential services before any use and then charge unaffordable prices on usage is profiteering at consumers expense. To justify standing charges necessary for the maintainance of the service and its infrastructure is disgusting when making record profits that benefit shareholders rather than investing profits back into the upkeep of there own company instead this cost is made negligible to the company by being unfairly passed on to the customer.
