Dentists refusing to take new NHS patients should no longer receive NHS funding.
I have recently asked every dentist in my locality if they are accepting new NHS patients. None are accepting but seemed very money hungry to accept private clients.
I am suggesting if the these dentists no longer want to provide an NHS service to new patients they should not receive NHS funding.
And there should be some records of accountability for what they are doing. It is outrageous.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about availability of NHS dentist services, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to see to how NHS dentist services are funded.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Increase NHS dental care funding to improve availability for child and adults: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/601744
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to review the NHS dental contract, which determines how NHS dental services are funded, if that's something you'd like to happen.
