Allow the People defense of their homes and country from invasion.
Define a scale of escalation in regards to reasonable force. Allow people to use weapons such as their knives, shotguns, firearms to defend their property when the need arises. Allow the ownership of self loading rifles and pistols for defense training in war time situations and home defense.
There are no protections for a person defending their home apart from the vague phrase "reasonable force".
People should be allowed to defend their home and country against invasion, like what has been needed in Ukraine without the fear of prosecution if a weapon is used in defence of life or property.
If a person owned the appropriate firearms for training in self defense and there was a need for a militia such as Ukraine, it would be much more effective since training has already been done
