Lower the cost of living to help the people living in poverty
What the government must do is lower the inflation by 20% or increase the national living wage to support those living in poverty and the breadline.
As we have seen from the start of April we have seen a surge in costs of living and people cannot afford to pay 67% of national insurance, house, energy and fuel prices and people could face eviction from their homes increasing the crisis of homelessness and deaths. And also people are making unthinkable sacrifices for example cannot put food on the table or keep their house warm.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Increase our minimum wages by at least 12.2% in April 2022: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/609441
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to take action to reduce inflation, but it would need to be clear what actions you wanted the Government to take to achieve this.
