IMPROVE PROBATE COMMUNICATION AND DELAYS TO BEREAVED FAMILIES
TO IMPROVE THE TRANSPARENCY OF THE PROBATE SERVICE COMMUNICATION AND COMPLETION PROCESS TO 28 WORKING DAYS AND REGULAR UPDATES ON THE PROGRESS TO EXECUTORS/FAMILIES
BECAUSE IT IS A GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT AND IS RUNNING INEFFICIENTLY (EXPERIENCED THIS TWICE SINCE 2019 AND CURRENTLY A PROBATE OUTSTANDING FOR OVER 10 MONTHS WITH NO COMMUNICATION AND THE SERVICE PROCEDURES UNABLE TO DISCUSS WITH EXECUTOR OR SOLICITOR) CAUSING CONFUSION AND DISTRESS TO ALL FAMILY

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do to improve the transparency of the probate process, which is the responsibility of Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
