I would like to change the way rescue dogs are Rehomed.
I would like there to be more accessibility for rescue dogs to have the opportunity to go into households with children. Most rescues state that dogs can not go to a home with young children and I believe the dogs and families are missing out.
I believe there needs to me emphasis on regulations being passed for case to case renewals of families wishing to rehome dogs with children.
My main emphasis for this is most rescues I’ll state a dog can live with children over the age of x.
If it states a child over the age of eight, you can not generalise all eight year olds. One may respect a dogs privacy and alone time. Where as one may want the dog to play with them 24/7. I would like each dog to me reviewed more personally to the family who wish to rehome the dog.
