Petition Details

The Government should require all mobility and cabin scooters to be fitted with seat belts as these are not fitted as standard, nor are they always even available as optional extras. These essential safety devices help to prevent injury to the driver whether on the road or the pavement.

Additional Information

I am looking for support so that the risks of injury from accidents whilst driving mobility scooters can be reduced just by making sure they all have seat belts installed within them.
