Increase the £450k Lifetime ISA (LISA) house price cap
Raise the house price cap of the Lifetime ISA so that first-time buyers are not punished for rising house prices.
House prices have risen by 23% since the Lifetime ISA was launched. If the price cap had increased by the same amount it would be £553,500.
Average house prices in Surrey stand at £621,134, well above the price cap on the LISA. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a house beneath the £450k limit.
