Reforming the local Government system
The system of Local Government for major cities such as Birmingham and Manchester need to be reformed and modernised.
In particular the system of having a Mayor who cannot make strategic decisions with Law Enforcement and other agencies, is simply a role which should be abolished or reformed to allow greater powers.
People should be allowed to select any one of their peers to be Mayor and not affiliated or required to be a Councillor.
