This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

We understand that you're concerned about the political situation in Northern Ireland, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to be made to rules regarding the formation of the Northern Ireland Executive, or pay for MLAs.

We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:

Stop MLA's pay in Northern Ireland until the Executive is formed: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/616646

End mandatory coalition in the Northern Ireland Executive: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/616176

If you want the Government to do something different to the above petitions, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
