Change listed buildings ancient laws to benefit homeowners
Review listed building policies to allow homeowners to update/insulate properties in keeping with surrounding areas, being respectful towards what is actually listed.
Review listed buildings laws, which are ancient and stopping owners of these properties making them energy efficient, more attractive to sell and buy whilst being respectful to what elements of the listed building applies.
In our case, a property converted on 1980’,s just a dorma porch and one side window of significant interest and the property is listed? It makes no sense.
7 dwellings are affected because of this ridiculous rule, stopping them from being efficient homes to own and maintain

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you'd like changes to the requirements for listed buildings, but we're not sure what you'd like to see change, such as removing the requirement for consent.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
