Baby Box (NHS Branded)
To call as part of midwifery care the implement the NHS branded BabyBox project pilot informed by the Finnish model which contains towels, diapers, bodysuits, a sleeping bag, outdoor gear, and bathing products for the baby, nappies, bedding and a small mattress, and other personal care products.
Mortality rates are split across socioeconomic lines, with the lowest mortality in the least deprived areas and among parents in professional or managerial roles. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) called the rise “extremely concerning”. Infants are more than twice as likely to die in England and Wales if they are born into a poor family and the gap is widening”.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want a baby box, based on the Finnish model, to provided to parents of newborn children, but it's not clear if you want the Government to fund a pilot of providing these boxes, or for parents all newborn children to receive these boxes.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
