Free prescriptions for anyone with a heart condition
I would like the Government to make all patients with heart conditions exempt from prescription charges.
The medication they receive is needed to keep them alive and well. Many diabetics and people with certain other health conditions get free prescriptions, so why should it be any different for heart patients.
The amount of prescribed drugs many patients need can put them in financial hardship. Some may go without their medication because of this. Heart conditions affect a wide range of people, young and old. It's time to add heart patients to the list of medical conditions that are exempt from prescription charges.
