Stop the misrepresentation of 'high' protein content in food
Enforce stricter standards on the branding of foods said to contain high protein.
Companies sometimes market food as 'high in protein content'. However, these foods often contain a similar amount to their non-protein-branded equivalents.
This is health-washing (the green-washing equivalent); consumers are being mis-sold food that is undeservedly branded as protein-rich.
Consider setting a standard on food branding/marketing to ensure protein marketed foods are not misleading consumers.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you'd like to change the current definition of high in protein and if so what you'd like it to be

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
