NHS staff working in the community, there fuel allowance isn’t covering the cost
A sliding scale on there allowance which starts as a minimum amount then if there is an increase in fuel for more than say 2 months then it’s reviewed and back paided
NHS staff is our front line for the community and for some people there only way they survive. The wages aren’t amazing for those who see patients in the community from nurses midwife’s health care workers. The price of fuel and the low wages are hitting them hard
