Amnesty for undocumented migrants who have lived in the UK for 12 years and more
The Government should implement an Amnesty program to undocumented migrants who have been living in the UK for past 12 years or more and who do not pose a risk to the UK and who have no criminal convictions.
The Home Office had previously indicated on 19 July 2021 that consideration should be given to a targeted “Amnesty” program. Nearly a year has passed and no further action has been taken.
Therefore this petition is calling for focused Amnesty for people entered in the UK through a legal route, later fell into undocumented category and lived in the UK for 12 + years.
