Petition Action

Stop Boris Johnson from changing the Ministerial Code

Petition Details

PM Boris Johnson plans to change the ministerial code so that if a minister is found guilty of misleading Parliament, they will not be forced to resign or be sacked.

Additional Information

This plan is distinctly undemocratic and will erode what little is left of the culture of accountability in Government. Accountability is vital to our political system and ensures that those who govern us display the necessary morals to wield their power.
